Afternoon in Reading

Tomorrow I have to go to Reading for an opticians appointment, it should finish at about 3pm. Should I stay in reading afterwards and what should I do there? (Ad, London)

make your way through the town to the river. Find a freindly looking swan (or as friendly as one gets). make friends with it by giving peace offerings of scones (but no butter, he may be watchin his figure)and call him pedro the confused swan. (george, Brighton)

Pitch a tent on the land by the river mead centre and rock out on your i-pod to bands that play at reading festival (if you have been before reminisce over your best times there). dont forget drink, drugs, wellies and wetwipes.

Make yourself a huge sign post to carry around with you saying 'Reading festival this way' and guide intruiged passers by to a book club. Get your mates to all sit in a circle dressed as librarians reading and discussing novels. (Caitlin, Brighton)
